Nikon Z5 Full Spectrum for astronomy, UV and IR photography
By following the release of the Nikon Z5 mirrorless camera, PrimaLuceLab announce availability of the Nikon Z5 Full Spectrum, the special version that allows to capture astronomical, infrared, ultra-violet, and traditional photography all with one camera!
By using a special clear filter that replaces the standard one and thanks to the autofocus calibration after filter modification, the Nikon Z5 Full Spectrum mirrorless camera offers the solution for people searching for higher sensitivity in H-alpha line (very important to better capture nebulas) for astrophotography and UV/IR sensitivity for different scientific applications.
Nikon Z5 Full Spectrum mirrorless camera takes advantage of great performances of the Nikon Z5 big FullFrame sensor (24x36mm), large pixels (6 microns), and sensor position only at 16mm from the new Nikon Z bayonet. This way photographers, also without specific skills, are not able to record great pictures for astronomy, UV and IR photography, all with the same camera (optional filters may be needed to select the requested band).

Nikon has brought back the ‘Nikon Yellow’ trial program, allowing US-based photographers to try the new Nikon Z5 full-frame mirrorless camera “worry free” for 30 days. If you don’t like it, simply send back the camera at the end of the trial period for a full refund, including pre-paid shipping.
i was looking to see if it had 8 or 10 bit internal. man o man, is that stuff buried. every article only says "no 10 bit External". yea, tell me another tale, nikon... you 8 bit and you know it!
$100 trade in bonus
Of course they rip you off much more in trade in camera value, but...
If they drop the price to $900USD they will have a camera they can sell. As is, buying a refurbished or even used Z6 would be so much better for anyone with sense. $900 makes sense for so many reasons, as it magically makes it less than 1K.. anything over 1K is something most are unwilling to pay for a camera. Also it makes it very practical for wedding photographers and others wanting dual cameras for events. 1 Z6 or Z7 and one Z5... but again, you can get a used Z6 for $1300 with a whole load of extra features... Nikon is counting on a select group of ill informed people with just the right amount of money who think they need full frame, and don't know there are better options for their money.
There is nothing wrong with this camera, it just lacks justification at this price point.
