You know that some of good notes also support QC and PD?
Am familiar with QuickCharge/PD, but this is supposed to be connected and powered by laptop USB connectors.
They won't, read about QuickCharge or PowerDelivery.
Definitely it is not solution for everything and not top grade thing.
But even pedal usage shows that they have idea how to do similar things (they made such type scanner already if you notice their history).
With 10-16w, the two LEDs would overload the USB port (which also has to power the camera)...
Book scanners are tricky to design/build well, with lots of DIY projects existing on the Internet. I'd be suspicious of anyone claiming to have an inexpensive, shrink-wrap, portable, no-brainer solution for that.
Software here, if it works good is 90%.
As for leds - it depends, if it uses PD or QC it can be not bad (with leds being 10-16w).
Hmm, this can't be more than a generic, small-sensor 13MP camera with some software to correct geometric distortion from bent book pages?!? Plus, I doubt that the two built-in LEDs are sufficient for even lighting of pages.
