SD Association prohibited use of SD and MicroSD cards for Huawei
  • Due to huge possible damage SD Association made it all in silence without making press releases.

Huawei is removed from Association members and had been noted to stop using or adding to new products any of SD Association standards.

It is expected that few more Chinese companies will follow in next two weeks. In case of lack of progress and any further delays all major Chinese manufacturers will follow in around 45 days.

This is very useful as will allow to fully reject imports of Chinese smartphones and notebooks due to infringement.
