These was were handheld and with old 14-140mm lens that came with my GH5. Wasn't shot as well as the lion dance videos I posted on page 78 but I thought I'd post them here anyway.
Panasonic LUMIX DC-GH5 refurb, $1449
At least they fixed the One Push AE function.
I'll tell you small secret.
Panasonic developers work such way - 98% of the development team are being transferred to new camera right after v1.0 firmware is done. For demanding cameras you can have 15-20% working on v2.0.
All else is usually done by 1 or 2 guys remaining.
Camera development is also not much similar to modern big software development where main OS is exactly same for everything, only drivers differ.
Wow, that is underwhelming.
My favorite part of the 2.3 FW update: if we had fixed it, people would not have complained.
Any more info / goss on potential FW updates?
Are you fan of safe sex? Never though that your camera also can be?
@flash Same, I would buy the GH5s in a heart beat.
This is why ProRes will be better (ProRes HQ 4K is perfect on my macpro dual x5690/32Go ram with 1080ti-11Go).
Agree with @joethepro - I've had no stuttering with my All-I 400Mbps footage. Though perhaps he just means it's too much for under-spec'd machines.
Just got word from an Atomos rep that the Ninja V is supposed to be available right around the same time - so would make sense that they might enable ProRes Raw over HDMI as Jeremy from Atomos said the Ninja V could potentially record ProRes Raw if a camera offers support for it.
@peaceonearth? What stuttering? Are you sure its not the refresh rate of your monitor?
@Vk, if they do that, I will buy the GH5s and cancel my BMPocket4k preorder.
It can be even special paid option for enabling ProRes RAW.
Management can see it as nice way to improve they year bonuses :-)
Hope it will be ProRes !
hopefully not. ProRes will fill your cards with the blink of an eye.
What ever it is, it should be more efficient and not stuttering like the current all-I in most NLEs
Hope it will be ProRes !
New codec option can come at Photokina time with new firmware. It is muted talks now, testing of alpha version can start in August.
