  • Couple of questions;

    1. Is it completely tool less to mount the camera on the gimbal? I am tried of getting extra screening at the airports when they scan my bag and see a screw driver that I use with my Beholder DS1.
    2. This is pretty much a nebula 5100 only difference is the slant right?

It will pretty much come down to this or the pilotfly H2-45. Waiting for more reviews.

  • @HillTop1

5100 also require hands only. As well as most modern gimbals.

No, drives are even more powerful. And gimbal weight is smaller.

Nebula approach is to use best available drives and make very strong construction that can really work with such loads.

  • Ah I see, good! The ability to have a good view of the camera screen is a very handy feature to me. That means I can use any camera I am travelling with easily.

  • wish there was more details on the timelapse function. Like can you program how long it takes to do the movement? Can the gimbal connect to a mobile phone via app?

    This one is simple.

    Look at https://www.basecamelectronics.com/downloads/

It has both Android and iOS apps, PDF has info about timelapse.

  • Wooow, this is amazing!

Soo weird for this to come out so soon after the original Nebula 5100.

Do you know if it operates with the arm on the opposite for flip-out LCD screen??

  • @Vitaliy_Kiselev Do you recommend this over the original Nebula 5100?

What are your thoughts on this?? :)

  • With bigger Canon and Sony cameras

  • By quility it looks like it was taken with smartphone. Everything is blurry or unfocused.

  • @Rambalac

Has nothing to do with gimbal. It is just some customers who can make videos of any quality.

  • Our video from SMPTE exhibition

  • Some photos from exhibition and larger cameras on 5100 Slant

  • Is it possible to separate the gimbal in two for easier transport similar to the PilotFly H2?

  • @PiotrJ The Nebula5100 slant can't seperate two parts. But it is small size and lightweight (only 900 gram). The Nebula5100 have an integrated storage case, which is easy carry and use. image
