@DrLu Thank you. Glad you like it. All the videos were shot with the GH4. When I travel, I shoot mostly handheld and the primes I carry are Voigtlander 10.5 and 25mm. I also take the G zooms (12-35 and 35-100) and Genustech Eclipse ND Fader.
@silverfox . What body did you use for The clips. Can you give other detalles Of your setups... Wonderful work!
@IronFilm Thank you. It's a great lens indeed.
@dlzn The timelaps in the "An Italian Summer" video was shot on a GH2. It's at 02:46. I have also shot a few clips randomly, just to see if the field of view is wider, but other than that - not much video use with the GH2.
Looks amazing! @silverfox You used a GH2 with this lens?
It is fine, fast lens from Voigtlander for Micro Four Thirds. Sharpness delivered by this lens is excellent. Those shooting video will appreciate the option for a stepless aperture and many will enjoy exploiting the fast maximum aperture and ability to isolate a subject from their surroundings with shallow depth of field.
Like the other 0.95 aperture lenses, the results are quite soft and less contrasty at the fastest aperture but are still very useable if your aim is to achieve a dreamy out-of-focus rendering. Centre sharpness peaks between f/2 and f/8 while corner and edge sharpness improve the more you close your aperture, with optimal results being found at around f/11.

Site is clearly working, you can use google translate and also check imatest testing approach.
Vitaliy i cant get that site to load. Mind explaining the chart? I asume its center edge and far carner performance? Do these numbers look good compared to others?

@kingmixer That is kind of what I was thinking. I have a 50mm Canon FL and an 85mm Fl plus speedbooster already. They are both great lenses and I think will actually mesh very well with the noktons. But the only wide lens I have is the 9mm fisheye bodycap, fine for some shots (recording action sports), but not exactly great for things other than that. With the em5 mark 2 stabilizer the 10.5 should produce a great fov and good stability. Good for me because video is secondary to my photography so I rarely have a tripod unless doing something specific.
@Duly_Noted I would recommend the 10.5mm, because you can usually nab close ups with the 25mm and it's sweet close focus distance, but you can't always get wider.
Not discontinued they just listed it wrong at b&h. Im stuck between this and the 42.5 nokton to match my new 25 nokton and em5 mark 2. I cant decide other than my gf thinks the 10.5 is cute lol. Can you post examples to vimeo @silverfox
im stuck between this and the Sigma 18-35 with new XL metabones.... Ive already got the 42.5 Nokton and it is my favourite lens.
