The Science of Camera Sensors

  • This is way too complicated. That can't work :-) Well explained. Thanks.

  • So, we cram the biggest Sensor (s35) possible into a MFT mount camera. What is so Scientific about that? JVC has already done that with the LS300. But I would like to see the Panasonic VariCam or better high ISO Sensor in the GH5.

  • @RRRoger Why on the earth do you want higher ISO? Can't you get MORE lights?

Great and very instructive video by the way. I really dig how FilmakerIQ widely touch to difficult topics in a very simplistic way. The take they had on stockable data was also a great one. It's never a bad thing to understand how what you have in your hands work beneath the skin.

  • The places I shoot do not allow "MORE" lights and are too dark for anything but an A7s. I need the GH5 to shoot at least as clean at ISO 6400 as the GH4 does now at 1600.
