    As ads become more and more obnoxious, more and more people will use the blockers, forcing the ads to become more and more obnoxious (and invasive). Where will it end?

    In the future you'll be watching your own home movies on TV, and the TV will insert ads for your viewing. Oh, wait, Samsung already did that...

    May be they have reason (as advertising clicks reduce you need more intrusive ads) :-)

    Only real alternative is the sites where you donate or pay for subscription. PV is such from the start, and it is not easy to keep this way.
