thinking about getting this lens since it has OIS and Auto Focus for my 4k video for good low light performance.

anyone else anything besides this thats under $500?

  • I suggest to change title from such general one, and no cheap fast lenses with OIS are not plenty.

  • You could go for the 12-35mm F2.8 - Nice lens and great "always on".
Not BELOW 500 bucks, but used around 500 to 600 bucks.
Additionally you could also go for a vintage 50mm lens (instead of the 42.5mm Panasonic).
(I use for example the Yashica ML 50mm F1.7 - Cost me 20 bucks + around 10 bucks for the adapter.)
Great lens at F2.0 - Ingenious at F2.8 upwards - And VERY easy to re-lubricate, clean up and adjust. ^^
