It seems like a safe bet that it will be completely functional on any micro 4/3 body since it's being released by one of the two main companies making micro 4/3 cameras and since there are few, if any, known incompatibilities between Olympus micro 4/3 lenses and Panasonic bodies. However, the lens doesn't ship until June so it seems unlikely that many people will have tried it on a GH3.

Now that we all have our Speedboosters and Tokinas 11-16mm.... Olympus realises that there is a market for FAST ultra wide lenses and is working on an update of the 7-14mm F4.0 - it only took ages;-)

I would still prefer if they complet there highend set (Oly 14-35mm/35-100mm F2.0) and give it F2.0.

Price point will be interesting.
