Unfortunately, the firmware on Leica S (Type 007) at Photokina has not yet supported the 4K@24fps video mode, but the 1080p HD-video were looking good on full-size scanned Medium Format sensor. However, no recording on your card were allowed. Tethering via USB has not supported yet video specific menus, but the Live View and image capture was working.

The Samsung NX1 Launch at Photokina 2014. Shaky stuff - being pushed around by other photographers...!
Maybe ready by April 2015? Yikes, how can they be so far behind.
The S35 sensor/mft mount is the exact config I had hoped Panasonic would debut for an AF100 successor. I'm interested to find out if this camcorder outputs 4K with mft lenses working in crop mode. If so, is the sensor supplying 1:1 pixel readout in mft mode and in turn downsampling a higher resolution when used in S35 mode? Will mft lenses have autofocus capability? This could be a great camera if the price and implementation are done right.

Two interesting interviews with Sony and Olympus
Thanks @igorek7 that's good information! So I guess still benefit especially for 8bit internal as it will tweak the values on effectively raw data before encoding so better than doing it in post where I can only do it on the 8bit internal but go easy and probably most effective at lower ISO is what I'm thinking as a general rule. Interesting about 4:3 capture that's going to give some nice extra creative options, thanks again!
@Umii I've spoken with Matt Frazer and some other people in Panasonic booth. It appears, that answer is NO: curves doesn't create multiple iso points, but applies adjustment to the image already captured by sensor.
@mrbill I'll try to visit tomorrow the Atomos guys.
is if the new 4k Photo Mode actually allows 4:3 Video Shooting (which would be great for 2x Anamorphic shooters)
The answer is Yes, it would be possible to shoot 4:3 video.
@AKED and @driftwood Thanks, Dieter and Nick, for posting videos!
