60p, 30p, 24p same size on SD card?
  • Probably simple answer but...for each framerate my 32gig SD card estimates 1 hour and 24 minutes. Shouldn't 60p take up more space since there's more frames? Or is it more based on the MBPs? And if that's the case does that mean that 60p is technically lower quality than 24p at 50mbps since you're squeezing more frames into the same data rate?

    As I've learned around here, it's the MBPS that counts mostly sort of. Other folks can give you the more detailed tech version, however.

  • Yes, it's about Mbps. If camera writes always the same data rate, more information for each frame in 24p mode, but size stays the same.
