Blind Faith - (2012) Shot On GH2's
  • Hello everyone we made this short a few years ago and after doing the festival circuits we have now made it public.

We shot this on hacked GH2s, I cant remember which hack we used but I believe it was one of the early Driftwood ones. A big thanks to Vitaliy and Driftwood: enabling us to turn our little cameras into cinema machines!!!!

    Blind Faith:

    Thanks, Dave

  • Bravo! Great imagery, editing, story telling! Stunning!

  • Nice, loved the colors, what kind of lenses did you use if you don't mind me asking?

Also what software for color grading?

    Congrats on the festival run.

  • beautiful and moving. Well done

  • Thanks guys we used mostly vintage FD glass because of the budget!

    The lenses used were Olympus 12mm f2.0, Canon FD: 35mm f2.0, 50mm f1.4, 80mm f1.8 and 135mm f2.0

The grade was done using Colourista II. A big focus was to make the actors look ill and pale. A secondary was applied to skin tones to the lower saturation and the gamma was lifted to give the skin a ghost like aesthetic.

  • good job using the FDs... v good lenses.. nice work
