Distortion correction for native MFT Lens in Video Mode
  • I was wondering if the distortion correction for native MFT Lens in Video Mode works the same as in RAW/jpeg.

  • Each raw file contains an original distorted image plus distortion correction parameters. Tools like ACR or Lightroom do automatic correction.

Video clips will have distortion correction like JPEG.
  • In camera correct?
  • Thanks. I am almost sure that Oly 12mm F2 would be corrected on a gh2 body but still would like a confirmation.
  • I don't know about the Olympus lens. All my m43 lenses are from Panasonic.
  • @Hazna
I don;t think the Oly 12mm would be corrected on the GH2. Aside from being form a different manufacturer it didn't even exist when the GH2 firmware was designed, so how could Panasonic include the correction factors?.
  • maybe the correction parameters are stored inside the lens? :)
  • That is way we are supposed to have the microfourthird STANDARD..
It seams it is not corrected...
