Add to this SDI to HDMI converters and it will work (actually I do not know why not use HDMI).
Anyone know a good sdi transmitter and receiver set under 2000$ ..saw this one http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/120-M-wireless-sdi-hdmi-transmission_60264391691.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.1.2WEGZw and this http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/LM-SWHD01-WHDI-5-8ghz-Wireless_60309728476.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.98.2WEGZw
Just got an email from my local major chain of computer stores about this interesting looking device (is going to be going on sale for only NZ$309+gst, or about US$200ish):
https://www.amazon.com/Aten-VE809-HDMI-Wireless-Extender/dp/B00B7FSDLA
Is meant to do 1080 at up to 30m!Can be DC powered (and even USB powered perhaps?).

Alexauwa, am also curious too about proven workable solutions which are in the sub two hundred ish USD price range. Suitable for the director's monitor, without needing to be tied down to them (hate that!).
We tested the connex, and it's a great piece of hardware. No problem to have 20 meters perfect connection true an old 50 cm brick wall, also no problem for 1 km line of sight. The one kilometer is actually a firmware restriction, after 1100 meters it displays a message. It would be great if someone could hack the firmware and remove the restriction. With 2 amp 5.8 ghz boosters and yagi antenna's, i'm sure it could to a lot better :)
geez, 1km? must be for aerial. i'll be happy for 100 feet!
We just bought the Amimon Connex. Many reviews on youtube support the claim of 1 km uncompressed hdmi.
Amimon is the company that makes the chips for all WHDI devices. Ordered it this week, hopefully it will arrive next week. If anyone is interested, I can record some test or review :)
It's 1700 euro in the EU, compared to paralinx or Terradek long range stuff, that's a steal :)
The Aries pro has now been raised to $799 by Nyrius!!! LOLOLOL Uncool, i will have to research these and other devices on PV now. So glad you guys are here though, other forums are a no show on this stuff.
I am sure you can type WHDI in the search box at Amazon or aliexpress.
As far as I know, the nyrius Aries Pro is still the best bet for now.
Yep, it is pretty common thing, chinese makes bunch of this.
Thing I referenced is relatively new and seems to have better antennas.
The nyrius Aries Pro looks pretty much the same as the paralinx arrow and apparently they both can be used interchangeably. The nyrius is around $220 though so it's a pretty good bargain.

Another solution with small transmitter and reciever
Seller claims 300m distance, but this looks unreal.
Gigabyte SkyVision WS100
Used Paralinx Arrow and more than happy with the unit. It can go as far as 98 meters on our test (open air) and about 20 meters (for close room condition). Check out their website at http://paralinx.net/
Almost NO LATENCY at all too!!
