Two lenses price check
  • Could we make this kind of thread? I just stumbled upon these glasses in the local yellowpages;

    Nikkor 50mm 1.4 AI, $160 including the m43 adapter.

    and

    Vivitar 28mm 2.8 $120 including the m43 adapter.

    Good buy or good bye?

  • Good idea is to make search of completed items on ebay

  • Check prices on keh.com, b&h, and adorama as well. Price is also dependent on condition of the lens, in particular the glass.

  • I'll tell you one thing, if that's a real price on the Vivitar, that's seems high! I bought one last year on Ebay for $40.

  • If Nikkor 50mm 1.4 Ai is in mint or near mint shape that's 20-30$ more than the usual price it reaches on ebay (without an adapter) these days. I've been bidding on few of those lenses about ten days ago.
