    Looks like this buying spree is a universal bug.

    Started with a GH2, then lenses, still buying more lenses, a 7 inch mornitor, accessorised it, still picking up stuff for it, bought sound gear, lights (z96 plus 650 practicals), and just 2 days ago picked up a Gini Rig.

    Another Carl Zeiss lens is still on its way from Europe.

    All in all, spent more than 10k, and still counting

    Finally the year ending. Thank gawd I didn't break my bank.

    Good part. I'm surprised that I don't need many gears. It feels great to have a working set tailored for me. Bad part. Selling the rest I don't need. If I don't clear them out this year, prolly they will live with me forever... prolly collecting dust. Weird part. I wanna spend more next year. 12-35 and 35-100 X... please 2.8 or faster.

    It's best to sell asap while there is demand.

    I'm selling all items I don't use anymore. That's all. I would have gotton more bucks if I had sold earlier.

    My gut feeling is that consumer demand, not just camera, is falling fast.

    For investment? A way too early. Wait until net body price goes around $300. That's when GH3 is out. Good luck.

    But if you need one for your creative work, go buy it if you can afford. Time is money.

    @stonebat not for investment- for preparing for discontinuation? Maybe? Especially with all the hurt now at Panny... doesn't look good... :-( Lets hope that there "is" a GH3!

    You will clearly see writing on the wall before the discontinuation. The price capitulation is likely to happen after GH3 release. e.g. GF2 was discontinued this week. GF3 already on sales for month.
