The elongated barrel allows you to record images from a perspective few lenses offer. The lens is now available in several mounts including a Sony E-mount version that's been modified for cine users. The lens is a 2:1 macro that touts a wide-angle "bug-eye" perspective creating a shallow depth of field at close distances. The image circle can cover both standard 35mm (36x24mm) and Super 35 sensors. The front of the barrel is waterproof and has a LED ring light mounted to the tip to help you probe shots at night or to give an image the slightest of light pop.
