Yongnuo has just announced a new prime lens for Nikon Z mirrorless cameras: the Yongnuo YN 85mm f/1.8Z DF DSM. This compact and lightweight lens covers full-frame sensors and is the third f/1.8 prime lens with a Nikon Z-Mount. Let’s take a closer look at it! Chinese manufacturer Yongnuo is well-known for creating affordable lenses like their 35mm f/2 for Sony E-mount cameras. After the YN 20 mm and YN 50mm f/1.8Z DF DSM, the company has just introduced the Yongnuo YN 85mm f/1.8Z DF DSM for Nikon Z-mount cameras. Yongnuo YN 85mm f/1.8Z DF DSM: overview The YN 85mm f/1.8Z DF DSM is a compact and lightweight prime lens with a length of only 89mm for a diameter of 68mm and a weight of 405g/14.2oz. This autofocus lens covers full-frame sensors, so it is compatible with every Nikon Z camera, including the latest Nikon Z 9 we reviewed here.
