"When I Started, There Weren’t Many Female Editors": How This Editor Began an Award-Winning Film and TV Career

Here, she discusses her approach to the craft—and why hiring talent from diverse backgrounds is so important for the industry. Hailing from the town of Ilkeston in Derbyshire, where her mother worked in a hospital and her father was a mechanic, Woodward was “one of the very few people” in her family to go to university.
