When I was about ten, my mom went out of town for the weekend, and my Dad rented both Terminator movies; that weekend changed my life. My parents are Trekkies, so I have been steeped in science fiction genre my whole life. But that was the first time I saw movies that were weird, violent, and felt right up my alley.
