For years I’ve been jumping between Steadicam and Glidecam models over motorized gimbals because of familiarity. They’ve become an extension of my body to the point where I don't need to think about how to use them. And that’s key for me as an operator. Not thinking but doing. Missing a shot is downright awful. But I’ve always wanted to change my bias against motorized gimbals. When Tabb Firchau showed me the MoVi M10 at NAB 2013, its design was innovative and has been replicated many times since.
