The Last Duel is a masterclass in perspective and character development. One of the most interesting movies in years is Ridley Scott's The Last Duel. It's a challenging film that gathers three different perspectives leading up to and after a crime. Scott's direction is incredible and nuanced, but it couldn't have gotten there with great writing. I love how they took us through the process of all three of them sitting and writing together and working separately. It's interesting to think Matt and Ben adapted the book, but when it came to adding the final point of view, Nicole was able to go off on her own and create a world and story for Marguerite.
