Venus Optics Unveils the 'World's Widest Full Frame Zoom Lens'

Venus Optics adds not one, but TWO "world's first" to their stellar Laowa lens line. If you're a full frame mirrorless shooter and a fan of Venus Optics' unique Laowa lenses, you're in for a treat. The camera lens manufacturer has unveiled two interesting pieces of glass, the Laowa 15mm f/2 Zero-D, which is the world's widest rectilinear f/2 lens, and the Laowa 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6, the world's widest full frame zoom lens. Let's take a look at the features that make these two lenses worth some attention. Laowa 15mm f/2 Zero-D As stated before, Venus Optics claims this lens is the widest f/2 rectilinear lens for full frame mirrorless cameras (Sony FE, Nikon Z, Canon RF mounts). What does the "Zero-D" mean? Well, this lens is part of the Laowa lens line that offers close-to-zero distortion with a 110-degree angle of view. The lens is small and lightweight at 3.23" long and 1.1 lbs.
