Tokina Cinema Vista 65mm T1.5 lens has just been announced and released. It expands the Cinema Vista line of prime lenses and matches them in terms of 46.7mm image circle (for large formats), dimensions, 114mm front diameter, and look. The lens will be available for around $7,499 USD. It seems that the traditional 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm primes do not cover everyone’s needs when it comes to “medium” focal lengths. Back in November 2020, Tokina Cinema already expanded its flagship Cinema Vista line of prime lenses with the 40mm T1.5. Now, the lineup gets yet another “in-between” focal length.
