Tilta has released their full cage and kits for Nikon’s flagship mirrorless camera, the Z 9. The cage wraps all around the camera, it features multiple cold shoe mounts, NATO rails, and 1/4″-20 mounting points across the cage, while the bottom plate is Arca-Swiss compatible. Let’s take a closer look at all these new rigging options for the Nikon Z 9! The Nikon Z 9 was announced back in October last year, and the least we can say is that this flagship Full-Frame mirrorless camera impressed us during our review. In a nutshell, the Z 9 can shoot internally in 8K at up to 30p, 4K at up to 120fps, and upcoming firmware updates will allow for it to record 8K60p 12-bit ProRes RAW and 12-bit N-RAW video internally! SmallRig was one of the first third-party accessories manufacturers to launch its cage for the Z 9.
