The Tilta camera cage for Canon EOS R5 and R6 is now available for purchase. Available in black or grey colors for $99, it includes inner padding to protect the camera body, a variety of threaded holes, cold shoe mount on top, turning wheel, optional HDMI clamp, a lens adapter mount, and it is compatible with Tilta handles. Last year in summer, Canon announced its new full-frame mirrorless cameras based on the RF lens mount – Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6. Shortly after the announcement, these two camera bodies were discussed quite a lot. While being very capable still cameras, their video functionality got crippled by overheating. Interestingly, the cooling accessory that Tilta announced over a year ago is currently nowhere to be found on Tilta’s website.
