The new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR lens that was announced in September will be officially introduced "soon", most likely this month (December) or in early January (I don't have an exact date, I was just told that it is coming very soon). The 120-300mm f/2.8 lens will have 25 elements, including a new SR element that is used for reducing chromatic aberration (the full Nikkor lens glossary can be found here).
