New Cronenberg movies are always something to celebrate. It's been seven years since we had a new David Cronenberg movie, but it looks like a new feature is on the horizon. It's been reported by KFTV (via Screen Daily) that the next project on the docket for the director is Crimes of the Future. If that title sounds familiar, it should. One of Cronenberg's first films was also called that... could this be a remake of his own earlier forays into cinema? According to The Film Stage, the earlier movie was "set in 1997, following a mad dermatologist who searches for his mentor after a cosmetic invention gone wrong kills the entire population of sexually mature women."
