The latest Nikon patents

→ In October 2017 Nikon filed a patent for a what appears to be a new mirrorless mount (Z-mount?). It's interesting to note that the Nikon 1 mirrorless mount also had 12 electronic contacts. → Next is another recently filed Nikon patent application for a 6mm f/2 lens (not a full frame lens from what I could tell): focal length: 6.511 aperture: 2.0 half angle of view: 42.06° image hight: 5.6 total length: 7.928 → Nikon has a patent (P6237045) for an image sensor equipped with ADC (analog-to-digital converter) on each pixel. → Another Nikon patent (P6264284) describes on-sensor phase detection system using a quad-pixel array. → Nikon also has a patent to speed up the mirror flip-up speed in DSLR cameras. → Digital camera with built-in email client. → A different Nikon patent for a connected camera. → Another Backside illumination sensor (BSI) patent from Nikon. → Another Nikon dual pixel sensor patent (pictured: array of focus detection pixels). → I also spotted a Nikon patent online for camera and lens with built-in biometric sensors.
