Fujifilm adds a new telephoto lens to the X Series cameras. If you need a new telephoto lens for your X Series camera, the Fujinon XF 70-300mm F4-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens might be the answer. The XF 70-300mm F4-5.6 joins 12 other zoom lenses available for X-mount (14 if you count two MK cine lenses). It sits between the 55-200mm and 100-400mm zoom lenses from Fujifilm. The company also offers a 50-140mm F2.8. Optically, it's configured with 17 elements in 12 groups that includes 1 aspherical and 2 ED elements to correct aberrations. The 9 blade aperture can be stopped down to F22, and on an APS-C sensor, it has a minimum focusing distance of approximately 32.7" (0.83m). On a full-frame sensor, the lens becomes a 107-457mm equivalent. While shooting, the lens supports autofocus and provides up to 5.5 stops of image stabilization through OIS when paired with an X series camera including the X-T4. The lens has a 0.33x macro magnification. Read More...
