Teradek RT MDR.S Lens Control Receiver and Serv Micro Video Transmitter Explained

At Cine Gear 2022, we had the opportunity to chat with Colin McDonald, product manager of Creative Solutions about two new products from Teradek: The Serv Micro HDMI Video transmitter and the new RT MDR.S three-axis lens control receiver. Teradek has unveiled its latest RT lens control system, or more specifically, the receiving part of the system: the new Teradek RT MDR.S lens control receiver is the smallest yet, but it still packs a lot of features into its miniature housing. Colin also shows us the upcoming Serv Micro video transmitter, which is HDMI only and limited to HD video but should still be very useful for many people on a tighter budget. Teradek RT MDR.S lens control receiver According to Teradek, the RT MDR.S is a compact three-axis lens control receiver w/ Bluetooth, which offers premium lens control at a reasonable price. It is 30% smaller than its predecessor, the RT MDR.X but it still comes with the same OLED display and the same menu structure.
