TASCAM has just released an upgraded version of its compact DR-10L audio recorder: the DR-10L Pro. This Pro version adds timecode support via an optional Bluetooth adapter, increased microSDXC capacity, extended battery life, and, most importantly, 32-bit float internal recording capability, so you no longer have to worry about your audio levels. So let’s take a closer look at all the new features of the DR-10L Pro! The compact TASCAM DR-10L audio recorder was released in September 2016. Back in the day, it was one of the most compact audio recorders available on the market, and it has been trendy since its launch amongst wedding filmmakers, for example. Indeed, with one removable AAA battery, a locking microphone connector, a decent battery life, and easy-to-adjust settings, the DR-10L is a convenient “set and forget” audio recorder to put on a bride or groom. However, more compact wireless audio systems are now available, such as the Hollyland LARK MAX we recently reviewed, making the original DR-10L a little less relevant. To get some market shares back, TASCAM has just released the DR-10L Pro, an updated version with 32-bit float internal recording capabilities.
