SWIT recently released an affordable dual-channel wireless microphone system: the WAVE500. The set consists of two transmitters, one receiver and two lavalier microphones on top of the two transmitters’ built-in microphones. The WAVE500 has a 500ft/150m transmission range, up to 8 hours of battery life, and all units feature a handy display screen. So let’s take a closer look at this first wireless microphone from SWIT, aggressively priced at just under $200. Third-party accessory manufacturer SWIT is well-known for its high-quality batteries like the MINO V-Mount or the BIVO B-Mount. But the company also makes other products such as monitors, wireless video systems, and LED lights. For example, we recently talked about the VANGO RGBWW panels that I use regularly, and that feature a good build quality, excellent light quality in both CCT and RGB modes, and an impressive price/quality ratio.
