SWIT has launched a range of new tripods from portable travel models to high-end carbon fiber ones. There are five SWIT tripods in total, two for the videographers and photographers on the move and three Studio models offering up to 15kg loads. All the tripods come with fluid heads, although there are options to choose different fluid models from. Most of the range is made of tubular aluminum but two have a carbon fiber construction. SWIT MUF50 At the bottom of the range is the MUF50 lightweight travel tripod with its own TH50 fluid head offering up to 5kg loads. The MUF50 is ideal for DSLR or mirrorless cameras for either photography or videography. It has an adjustable height from 43cm to 149cm. The price is €199. The new SWIT MUF50 tripod and head. Image credit: SWIT Its fluid head gives you a 360˚ pan with -75˚ – +90˚ tilt angle motion. The head provides continuously smoother tilt movements and the counterbalance force is dynamic to the load on the head. You have a low-angle shooting option on the center column, an adjustable lock on the legs, and anti-pinch designed buckles on the retractable feet. SWIT MUF100C The next new model is the MUF100C, the C stands for carbon fiber, which is an 8-layer tubular construction.
