Sony's full-frame cine zoom lens is priced at $5,499 USD. It was at IBC 2019 when Sony first introduced the FE C 16-35mm T3.1 G, a zoom lens compatible with all E-mount full-frame cameras, including the FX9, Alpha mirrorless cameras, and the new FX6. Today, the company has released its first in a series of full-frame zooms. Part of the G Master series, the FE C 16-35mm T3.1 G optically features two XA (Extreme Aspherical), two ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) elements, and three aspheric elements to minimize aberrations, distortion, field curvature, and astigmatism. There's also nano AR coating to reduce ghosting and flare. It features an 11-blade aperture design that maintains a beautifully round bokeh at all apertures.
