Sony Xperia 1 VI Announced – New Telephoto and AI Technology

Sony has announced the launch of a new smartphone, the Sony Xperia 1 VI. The phone uses AI technology to improve the camera and the display, and it features a new telephoto lens. Let’s take a look at it! The gap between smartphones and cameras is getting smaller as companies put new technology advancements and AI capabilities in both worlds. The sensor size is now the main difference between the two since many of the features we can find in a camera are now available in top smartphone models like the iPhone 15 Pro or this new Sony Xperia 1 VI. A new lens and AI-assisted photography The first noticeable feature of the Xperia 1 VI is the new telephoto optical zoom lens of up to x7.1, with a versatile focal length covering from 85mm to 170mm. The phone also includes a 24mm lens with an image sensor called ‘Exmor T for mobile’, which ensures good low-light performance, and AI for focus tracking and identifying different human poses.
