Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 G Master OSS – Lens Development Announced

Sony recently announced the lens development of a new telephoto G Master prime lens: the Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 G Master OSS. This lens will be launched in early 2024 and will be an excellent addition to sport and wildlife photographers along with the existing FE 400mm f/2.8 G Master OSS and FE 600mm f/4 G Master OSS telephoto lenses. Sony has just announced the FE 20-70mm f/4 G, which features fast autofocus performances and many optimizations for video shooters like focus-breathing reduction. Furthermore, the company quietly announced the lens development of a high-end photography prime lens: the FE 300mm f/2.8 G Master OSS. This is NOT the new 300mm f/2.8 G Master OSS lens.
