SIRUI just announced the official launch of their third anamorphic prime lens: The SIRUI 24mm f/2.8 anamorphic 1.33x prime joins the already existing 50mm and 35mm versions to complete the set (for now). You might know SURUI as a company building quality, mostly photography-centric, tripods. But that’s not all they make since they also started to make budget friendly lenses lately. The new 24mm version is a bit slower in terms of aperture though, it sports a f/2.8 aperture, the other two feature a f/1.8 aperture. All three SIRUI anamorphic lenses. Image credit: SIRUI Since the already available lenses (35mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.8) are quite affordable offerings when it comes to anamorphic shooting, completing a set of three with this 24mm f/2.8 version seems compelling, for sure. All three lenses share the same 1.33x squeeze factor so you can mix’n’match them easily on set.
