A compact design adds to its mobility. Sigma has announced three new focal lengths in its newly branded I series prime lenses that also includes the 45mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary which debuted last year. The photography-focused glass includes a 24mm F3.5 DG DN, a 35mm F2 DG DN, and a 65mm F2 DG DN—all of which blend optical performance with a compact design that is said to be built to the same mechanical and operational standards of Sigma's Cine lenses, but in mirrorless form. The Contemporary series touts a range of primes and zooms that cover APS-C and full-frame sensors and are available in different mounts including Sony, Canon, and Nikon, among others.
