SIGMA have just released two new firmware updates for both its fp (version 5.00) and fp L cameras (version 3.00). You’ll now benefit from a new “warm gold” color mode, support for 4TB SSD when recording externally, and Camera to Cloud support when used with an Atomos monitor/recorder. So let’s take a closer look at all these new features! The SIGMA fp was released in October 2019, while the fp L, which features a full-frame image sensor, was launched in March 2021 along with the handy EVF-11. If there is one thing hard to deny, it’s the fact, the company puts a lot of effort into adding new features later down the road with numerous firmware updates since both launches. Last year, both cameras gained a False Color exposing tool, focus ring control, and much more.
