SIGMA 20mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary Prime Lens for Full Frame Announced

SIGMA has just announced yet another lens for its I-series of “Premium Compact Primes” for mirrorless cameras, the 20mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary. This is the fourth F2 lens to complement the already available 24mm, 35mm, and 65mm focal lengths. The newly announced 20mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary is an ultra-wide-angle prime lens in a pretty small form factor, weighing in at just 370g and measuring 72.4 mm in length. The lens is available in either L-Mount or Sony E-Mount. It offers AF or manual focus operation, as well as a manual aperture ring. The entire lens body is made of metal, so this lens could be a workhorse for everyday use, at least in terms of ruggedness.
