Once again there is a new cage in town! This time SHAPE has taken the popular Atomos Shinobi 7″ monitor and turned it into a very sturdy yet handy portable director’s monitor with two handles and some other useful features. Shape is known for high-end mechanical accessories used with cameras and, for example, monitors. Whenever the Canadian company sees fit, they will integrate Canadian maple wood handles into their products and this new cage is no different. From personal experience I can assure you that SHAPE’s maple wood grips are very well made, super comfortable and durable too. With the cage in place, the now-protected shinobi should survive a few drops that he certainly wouldn’t otherwise.
