Everyone deserves to be safe on set. Deadline reported this morning that actor Ruby Rose says she left the CW Batwoman TV show because of the toxic environment on set. Rose didn't say much at the time of her departure, but did say when they made her return to shooting 10 days after surgery that it was a bad idea on their part. Now the silence is broken. Rose wrote in a long Instagram post that "Enough is enough.” She addressed the post to everyone she worked with at the CW. “I’m going to tell the whole world what really happened on that set. I will come for you so what happened to me never happens to another person again. And so I can finally take back my life and the truth. Shame on you.” We got details on her surgery, in which she says, "I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralyzed. I had herniated two discs doing stunts, and they were close to severing my spinal chord (sic). I was in chronic pain and yet couldn’t feel my arms.” Read More...
