Portkeys LS7P Monitor Introduced – New OS with Log Color and Cine Norm Tools

Portkeys has unveiled the LS7P, a lightweight, 7-inch on-camera monitor featuring a 1080p display, 1000 nits brightness, and both HDMI and SDI inputs. Designed for flexibility, it supports 4K signal input, runs on MPF batteries (with an optional V-mount adapter), and offers mounting points on multiple sides for a compact rig setup. We discussed the monitor at the Portkeys booth with Chung Dha Lam. We’ve covered Portkeys monitors before, including the PT5 III 5.4-inch HDMI monitor, and we had a look at the LS7P a few months ago, which you can read about here for more detail on its 7-inch display, wireless control, and one-to-many system. At IBC 2025, we revisited the LS7P, this time within Portkeys’ new operating system framework, highlighting how it blends entry-level usability with selected pro-level features. Move Norm targets entry-level shooters with a simplified menu system, while Cine Norm is aimed at professionals who need advanced customization. Chung said that although the LS7P falls into the Move Norm category, it borrows several pro-level features from the Cine Norm category, including customizable log color tools and higher-end camera control.
