Panasonic LUMIX S Series – Two Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras The new Panasonic LUMIX S Series will feature two cameras; the Lumix S1R and the LUMIX S1. Both will be capable of 4K 60p video however we do not know whether this is in 8-bit or 10-bit yet. They have differing sized sensors with the S1 seeming to be more geared towards video. These are the key features of the Panasonic LUMIX S1R and S1 taken from the press release: Lumix S1R full frame 47MP sensor. Lumix S1 full frame 24MP sensor. Both cameras will be capable or recording 4K in 50p/60p. Both cameras will use the newly announced L-Mount. New Dual I.S image stabilization works with both sensor and lens stabilization. Dual memory card slots for XQD cards and SD cards. 3-axis tiltable LCD screen. Three New L-Mount Lenses Announced Three lenses will be available for the new Panasonic LUMIX S Series, beginning with a 50mm F/1.4, a 24-105mm and a 70-200mm.
