Nikon Releases RWG/Log3G10 to Rec.2020 N-Log LUT for N-RAW in Premiere Pro

Nikon has published a free “RWG/Log3G10 to Rec.2020/N-Log” LUT to streamline grading of N-RAW clips recorded in N-Log tone mode when opened in Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta), which currently interprets those files in RED Wide Gamut with Log3G10. What the LUT does The LUT converts from RWG/Log3G10 to Rec.2020/N-Log, matching Nikon’s N-Log look within a Rec.2020 container. It targets the current behavior in Premiere Pro (Beta), where N-RAW clips in N-Log are treated as RWG/Log3G10 on import. This keeps monitoring and first-pass grading consistent with Nikon’s intent for N-Log material. Nikon N-RAW in a Nikon camera menu. The company notes testing with Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta) at the time of release and specifies that the LUT is for cameras capable of N-RAW recording, for example the new Nikon ZR that we just covered in a Lab Test.
