A quick update to my previous post – there are more Nikon events scheduled in the next few months: A major event at the end of April or early May – people are already under NDA for that event. Nikon Japan announced that the Nikon Plaza Tokyo showroom will be temporarily closed because of an event that will take place on March 28, 2023 (Tuesday) from 16:00-18:30. Now, you have to understand that Nikon will milk everything out of the new Nikon Z8 camera announcement or whatever else they are planning to release. Expect first a development announcement, an official release, then a notice of shortage because of the large number of pre-orders, and finally shipping. I just don’t see anyone getting a Z8 before the summer or maybe even later. I was told that in terms of new Nikon products, 2023 will be a very good year. Stay tuned for more details.
