How2fly now reports that a new Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 lens for Nikon Z-mount will be announced next week. How2fly doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to Nikon gear – his last tweet about the 200-600 lens was later deleted when the lens was not announced. The Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 lens already exists for Sony E-mount and is priced at $1,899 (additional information is available here). Tamron currently has only one lens for Nikon Z-mount (70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD), but several of the latest Nikkor lenses are based on existing Tamron designs (Nikkor Z 70-180mm f/2 and Nikkor Z 28-75mm f/2.8).
