NANLUX has launched the FE30 and BE55 Parallel Beam Reflectors, expanding its light shaping accessory lineup. The FE30 supports FE and FM mount fixtures with a 30cm diameter and 1.38kg weight, while the larger BE55 accommodates BE and Bowens mount fixtures up to 800W with a 55cm diameter and 5.56kg weight. Both feature an 8° beam angle, IP66 weatherproofing, integrated grid and snoot design, and deliver significant output gains: the FE30 provides approximately 12x brightness increase when paired with the Evoke 150C, while the BE55 achieves roughly 23x output boost with the Evoke 600C. The parallel beam reflectors address a specific lighting challenge: achieving concentrated, high-intensity illumination in confined spaces or when extended throw distance is required. By converting divergent light into near-parallel beams, these modifiers boost efficiency while maintaining natural-looking quality. NANLUX FE30 and BE55 Parallel Beam Reflectors in action. When combined with NANLUX’s Evoke series fixtures, the output gains are substantial. The FE30 paired with an Evoke 150C delivers approximately 12.1 times the output of bare light at 5600K measured at 3 meters. The BE55 with an Evoke 600C achieves about 23.4 times greater output at 5600K measured at 5 meters. This concentrated beam pattern compensates for inverse square law falloff, allowing fixtures to be positioned further from subjects while maintaining sufficient illumination levels. The focused output suits detail work, accent lighting, and scenarios where fixtures must remain outside...
